General Board Meeting called to order by Chairman Mr. Meyer at 3:30 p.m. Present were Directors Mr. Meyer, Mr. Schloss and Mr. Bettag, Chief Svetanics and Ms. Vincent. Also present was President of Local #2677, Captain Bertelsmeier. There were no citizens of the District present.
Mr. Schloss amended the agenda to state the treasurer reports will be presented by Mr. Schnieders at the next bill paying meeting on October 22, 2009.
Motion by Mr. Bettag to accept the amended agenda as presented, 2nd by Mr. Schloss, roll call vote, Mr. Meyer aye, Mr. Schloss aye, Mr. Bettag aye.
Motion by Mr. Bettag to table the minutes of the general sessions of September 1, 2009, September 15, 2009, September 22, 2009, and September 30, 2009 until the next general meeting to be held October 22, 2009, 2nd by Mr. Schloss, roll call vote, Mr. Meyer aye, Mr. Schloss aye, Mr. Bettag aye.
Chief Svetanics reported that the Open House which was held Saturday the 10th was a huge success. The District provided 300 free flu shots, the Red Cross Blood Drive collected 19 productive units, the Firemen made 20 gallons of chili and served 480 hotdogs, 300 Gus’s pretzels, 216 Ted Drew’s Ice Creams, 1,000 Dad’s Cookies and made 7 pounds of coffee. The District would like to thank students from the Paramedic Program at I.H.M. Health Studies and St. Anthony’s Medical Center, and students from the Pharmaceutical College and the two nurses who administered the flu shots.

Monthly reports presented on training by each crew member, maintenance report, fire incident report and summary, ambulance statistics, ambulance monthly lockbox report and MediClaims report, community services report, wage report, Certified Letter from Susan Montee’s Office with the State of Missouri, and a letter from the Oakville Elks.
Next closed M.O.U. meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, October 27, 2009, at 8:00 a.m. Next general meeting scheduled for Tuesday, November 10, 2009, at 3:30 p.m. The regular open meeting for bill discussion will be on Thursday, November 19, 2009, at 3:30 p.m.
