General Board Meeting called to order at 3:35 p.m. by Chairman Mr. Meyer. Present were Directors Mr. Meyer, Mr. Schloss and Mr. Bettag, and Ms. Vincent. Chief Svetanics is on vacation. There were no citizens of the district present.
Motion by Mr. Schloss to accept the agenda as presented, 2nd by Mr. Bettag, roll call vote Mr. Meyer aye, Mr. Schloss aye, Mr. Bettag aye.
Mr. Schnieders joined the meeting at 3:40 p.m. and handed out the treasurer reports. Mr. Bettag gave the treasurer’s report as tabled from the general session of November 10, 2009, as being the month ending October 31, 2009. Mr. Bettag reported that he sees no problems in the reports, as tax revenue received from St. Louis County Department of Revenue was $16,513 for the month, but that revenue collected through the lockbox in October was low, at $25,464, which is under budget for the month.
Mr. Bettag stated that actual expenditures for October are at 77.5%, under budget set for the tenth month of the year which is set at 83.3%.
Motion by Mr. Schloss to accept the treasurer’s report as presented, 2nd by Mr. Bettag, roll call vote Mr. Meyer aye, Mr. Schloss aye, Mr. Bettag aye.
Mr. Meyer stated that Mr. Doherty of Montgomery Bank will meet with the Board on November 30, 2009 at 12:00 p.m. to start discussions on tax revenue investments. Following that meeting, the Board will meet with Local #2677 representatives to discuss the M.O.U.
The Board reviewed and signed monthly expenses.
