General Board Meeting called to order at 8:00 a.m. by Chairman Mr. Meyer. Present were Directors Mr. Meyer, Mr. Schloss and Mr. Bettag, Chief Svetanics and Ms. Vincent. Also present was Joe Schnieders, District Accountant. There were no citizens present.
Motion by Mr. Schloss to accept the agenda as presented, 2nd by Mr. Bettag, roll call vote Mr. Meyer aye, Mr. Schloss aye, Mr. Bettag aye.
The Board asked Lt. Doug Michalski to join the meeting to discuss the Toughbook computers at 8:05 a.m. Lt. Michalski made a presentation to purchase refurbished Toughbooks.
Motion by Mr. Bettag to purchase two refurbished Toughbook ambulance laptop computers per quote #505073 for the total sum of $1,027.76 from Comp USA, 2nd by Mr. Schloss, roll call vote Mr. Meyer aye, Mr. Schloss aye, Mr. Bettag aye.
Motion by Mr. Bettag to purchase a new captain’s office computer for the replacement cost of $785.00 per quote from Hawki Solutions, 2nd by Mr. Schloss, roll call vote Mr. Meyer aye, Mr. Schloss aye, Mr. Bettag aye.
Mr. Schnieders presented a revised 2011 Budget which the Board reviewed. Motion by Mr. Bettag to accept the Amended Budget for 2011 as presented, 2nd by Mr. Schloss, roll call vote Mr. Meyer aye, Mr. Schloss aye, Mr. Bettag aye. Mr. Schnieders left meeting at 9:05 a.m.
The Board asked Ms. Vincent to call the Collector of Revenue’s office and ask what is the breakdown for the surcharge on commercial tax bills.
The Board reviewed and signed monthly expenses.
Motion by Mr. Schloss to authorize Chief Svetanics and Ms. Vincent as designated election officials for the municipal election of a board member in the April 5, 2011 election, 2nd by Mr. Bettag, roll call vote Mr. Meyer aye, Mr. Schloss aye, Mr. Bettag aye.
