General Board Meeting called to order at 2:30 p.m. by Chairman Mr. Meyer. Present were Directors Mr. Meyer, Mr. Schloss and Mr. Bettag, Chief Svetanics and Ms. Vincent. There were no citizens of the district present.
Pledge of Allegiance led by Chief Svetanics.
Mr. Meyer stated there was one addition to the agenda, No. 6.50, swearing in of office.
Motion by Mr. Bettag to accept the amended agenda as corrected, 2nd by Mr. Schloss, roll call vote Mr. Meyer aye, Mr. Schloss aye, Mr. Bettag aye.
The Board discussed and reviewed proposed Credit Card Policy and asked that it be added to the M.O.U. under Rules and Regulations, Policies and Procedures, Number 30. Motion by Mr. Schloss to approve the Credit Card Policy as presented, 2nd by Mr. Bettag, roll call vote Mr. Meyer aye, Mr. Schloss aye, Mr. Bettag aye.
The Board reviewed and signed monthly expenses.
Motion by Mr. Bettag to accept the bid from Wildwood Ironworks to place an iron railing at the front walk which was damaged by a water main break for $1,200, dependant on meeting all St. Louis County regulations, 2nd by Mr. Schloss, roll call vote Mr. Meyer aye, Mr. Schloss aye, Mr. Bettag aye.
Motion by Mr. Bettag to accept the bid from Wildwood Ironworks to place an iron railing enclosing the new above-ground fuel tank dependant upon meeting St. Louis County requirements, 2nd by Mr. Schloss, roll call vote Mr. Meyer aye, Mr. Schloss aye, Mr. Bettag aye.
Motion by Mr. Bettag to promote Pvt. Steve Atherton to Engineer for the Lemay Fire Protection District as recommended by Chief Svetanics, 2nd by Mr. Schloss, roll call vote Mr. Meyer aye, Mr. Schloss aye, Mr. Bettag aye.
Mr. Jerry Schloss was sworn in by Chief Svetanics to service as a Director of the Board for another six year term.
