General Board Meeting called to order at 8:00 a.m. by Chairman Mr. Bettag. Present were Directors Mr. Bettag, Mr. Schloss and Mr. Meyer, Chief Svetanics and Ms. Vincent. There were no Citizens of the District present.
Motion by Mr. Meyer to accept the agenda as presented, 2nd by Mr. Schloss, roll call vote

The Board discussed the purchase of five laptops and an overhead projector to be able to show documents at board meetings and to computerize records. The Board asked that Mr. Antone of Hawk iSolutions, Inc. attend a meeting to discuss the purchase in detail. Meeting set for Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at 8:00 a.m.
The Board of Directors and Chief Svetanics discussed the audit results prepared by Hochschild, Bloom and Company. The audit is due to be filed by the end of June.
The Board discussed the open house, set this year on Saturday, October 8, 2011, and whether or not to provide free flu shots again this year. The Board decided that the District would again provide 300 free flu shots to the Citizens of the District.
Chief Svetanics reported that he received a request for manpower and apparatus to help cover the Fair St. Louis over the 4th of July weekend downtown at the Arch. The Board discussed the overtime needed and approved the request.
Bills were reviewed and signed.
