            General board meeting called to order at 3:09 p.m. by Chairman Jerry Schloss.  Present were Directors Mr. Schloss, Mr. Bettag and Mr. Meyer, Chief Svetanics and Ms. Vincent.  Also present were Donald Doherty, Russell Inman and Robyn Kestler from Montgomery Bank.  There were no citizens from the district present. 

 

            Motion by Mr. Bettag to accept the agenda as presented, 2nd by Mr. Meyer, roll call vote Mr. Schloss aye, Mr. Bettag aye, Mr. Meyer aye. 

 

            Mr. Don Doherty, President of Montgomery Bank, along with Russell Inman, Assistant Vice President, and Robyn Kestler, Regional Retail Manager of Montgomery was present to discuss the new banking agreement and preparations for the district’s funds to be transferred.  The Board of Directors voted last month to change the District’s financial institution to Montgomery Bank.

 

            Motion by Mr. Bettag that the district enter into the banking agreement with Montgomery Bank on the 22nd of July, 2008, 2nd by Mr. Meyer, roll call vote Mr. Schloss aye, Mr. Bettag aye, Mr. Meyer aye.  The Board of Directors signed the banking agreement with Montgomery Bank.  Mr. Doherty, Mr. Inman and Ms. Kestler left the meeting at 4:12 p.m.

 

            The monthly expenses were approved and signed.  

 

            Chief Svetanics reported that the final inspection on the new pumper has been delayed until August, which also pushes back the delivery date a few weeks.

 

            Chief Svetanics stated that we received the audit report from MediClaims and forwarded it to our auditors Sailor Kahn, and we will soon be filing our audit with the State of Missouri.

 

            Motion by Mr. Bettag to adjourn the general meeting at 4:38 p.m., 2nd by Mr. Meyer, roll call vote Mr. Schloss aye, Mr. Bettag aye, Mr. Meyer aye.
