General Board Meeting called to order at 3:30 p.m. by Chairman Mr. Meyer. Present were Directors Mr. Meyer, Mr. Schloss and Mr. Bettag, Chief Svetanics and Ms. Vincent. Also present were District Accountant Joe Schnieders and one citizen, Tom Coll.
Mr. Meyer stated that there were no additions to the agenda.
Motion by Mr. Schloss to accept the agenda as presented, 2nd by Mr. Bettag, roll call vote Mr. Meyer aye, Mr. Schloss aye, Mr. Bettag aye.
The Board and Chief Svetanics discussed tax rates with Mr. Schnieders.
Mr. Bettag stated that we will recess this meeting to approve tax rates until Thursday, September 30, 2010 at 8:00 a.m. We are waiting for information from the State Auditor’s Office regarding the approval of recoupment numbers.
Motion by Mr. Schloss to recess general session at 4:05 p.m., 2nd by Mr. Bettag, roll call vote Mr. Meyer aye, Mr. Schloss aye, Mr. Bettag aye.
