FIREFIGHTER/PARAMEDIC

The Lemay Fire Protection District is currently accepting applications for the position of Firefighter/Paramedic.  Qualified applicants must be 21 years of age, a U.S. Citizen, have St. Louis County Fire Academy Firefighter I and II certification, valid Missouri Paramedic License and currently ACLS certified.  Applicant must also have proof of high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license, and must provide a driver’s license record check and a police record check at time of interview. Special consideration to U.S. Military Veteran (Honorable Discharge), previous fire fighting experience, Associate Degree in Fire Science and ability to speak Bosnian fluently.  Applications are available Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the district headquarters, 1201 Telegraph Rd., St. Louis, MO 63125.  Phone number (314) 631-4500.
